I was very disappointed with the service at this branch. From the moment we arrived—about an hour before closing—we felt unwelcome. The waitress’s facial expressions and body language made it clear that our presence was an inconvenience. Throughout the meal, she did not check on us once. While we were waiting for our food, she began mopping around our table, and we were left sitting with a strong smell of bleach, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the mushroom sauce had to be sent back as it tasted sour, almost like spoiled milk, suggesting that it may have been rushed or improperly prepared. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations. It’s a shame because my steak was good.. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 300–400 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I love eating at this restaurant. Unfortunately because the bathroom were locked we opted to go eat elsewhere today. Most disappointing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve eaten at another Streatery before, but Streatery Gateway Corner truly raised the bar! My family and I tried a variety of dishes from the sushi bowl and fish & chips to burgers and noodles, and every single one was absolutely delicious. What surprised us the most was how affordable everything was. The prices were almost unbelievably cheap for the portion size and quality. The staff were super friendly, the vibe was relaxed, and it wasn’t too busy, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a casual yet tasty meal. I’ll definitely be going back! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 150–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
