The only option for lunch here is pizza or toasted sandwiches. OMW , what an appalling pizza. Ordered a Mexicana and it came slathered in a cheap, horrible sauce. I don't eat processed food, so how on earth can a restaurant choose, by themselves, to cover my food in highly processed, fake, crap Aro sauce. All the pizza needs is a sprinkle of fresh chilli. They seriously need to study pizza before they attempt to make it. What a waste of a pizza oven. The view is lovely, the restaurant is lovely, the service, although slow, is ok. Just don't come hungry. Price per person: R 200–300 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We booked the Dinner, Bed, and Breakfast package at the Blue Marlin Hotel and got to enjoy two dinners and two breakfasts at the Lighthouse Restaurant. Because of our package, we had a different menu. The starters are mainly salads. The Caprese and Ceasar salads were delicious. We had the chicken curry and rump steak on the first night and the prawns on the second night. Ample portion sizes and really, very tasty. For dessert, we had ice cream and chocolate sauce and tiramisu, and on the second night, we had fruit salad and ice cream and ice cream and chocolate sauce again. They offer everything you expect for breakfast: cereals, fruit (fresh and stewed), yoghurt, pastries, and then all the hot stuff - bacon, eggs, sausages, etc, etc. On Sundays, it's a full breakfast buffet. The breakfast is incredible value for money. Before we left on Sunday, we ordered a pizza to take home because there simply wasn't room for lunch after the delicious breakfast. All of the waiting staff were attentive and friendly, but special thanks to Elaine, Mimi, and Dino for being super! Price per person: R 250–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
