Geweldig koffie staat op je te wachten bij dit cafetaria. Veel mensen markeren dat personeel is cool hier. Goedkoop dienstverlening is wat een aantal bezoekers onderstrepen kenmerkend voor Bean Tree Café. Gebaseerd op de gasten' meningen, sfeer is walgelijk hier. Went for a toastie at 2pm on Sunday. Staff was busy cleaning salt and pepper pots, so I asked whether they were open. Yes, till 3. We had to ask for menus, got our tea and coffee. No sugar on table - had to ask. Preferred toasted bacon and banana, but not available because no stock (inside a supermarket?) After 40 minutes I asked to see a manager because we had received NO FOOD YET. No manager in the restaurant. Food apparently slow because chicken was frozen for the Portuguese style sandwich! When the food was brought eventually, there was no salt or other condiments on the table, no cutlery and no serviettes. At that stage we asked for take-away containers, paid for our food and left. Durban. The best curry can be found here. Phenomenal food, care goes into every dish. Amazing breakfast and lunch menu. Well priced. Exceptional service from Lance and his team. Hands on service. It feels like visiting family for a good meal. Lance goes out of his way every time.
