Was a quiet night, most tables were empty. Waited 50min for 8 sad, small crumbed mushrooms in a bowl with watery tartar sauce. No main meal in sight. The Waiter was sweet, he was working hard. The manager was helpful, i didnt eat the mushrooms and canceled my order and i paid for my drinks. I simply can not spend R500 on a meal of this quality and care and feel happy about it. Went home and cooked myself a delicious meal in 20min, and spent a fraction of the price. I work too hard to waste my money. I'm sorry. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 400–500 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

i visited George Hennie’s for the first time today and was genuinely impressed. as someone who understands the standards and expectations of the franchise, i can confidently say the experience delivered on all fronts. the food was excellent, flavourful and well-prepared. our waiter, Shadene, was outstanding, she was very attentive, friendly, and professional. beautiful and sweet to say the least ! a special mention to the managers, Almarie and Angie, who were welcoming and clearly on top of things. it made a real difference to our whole experience ! overall, the atmosphere and service were on point. i’ll definitely be back. It isn't my first time at Hennie's George, but a first for my wife.. The overall experience was heightened by the exceptional service and care we both received from Keasha. She was super attentive with excellent recommendations on the best food for my wife who doesn't eat pork or beef... We will definitely recommend Hennie's for the super awesome food, drinks and the talented staff like Keasha.
